Vy is currently very scared of the big, wide world. She finds new environments and new people quite overwhelming, so her future family needs to have an abundance of patience. She isn’t the type to provide "instant gratification," but she is a true sweetheart once she feels safe.

Her Favorite Things
The Way to Her Heart: Food! Vy is highly motivated by treats and meals. This is the best way to start building a bond with her.

Affection on Her Terms: Once she trusts you, she loves gentle pats along her back and all the way down to her tail.

Lap Time: It may take time to get there, but once she knows you mean her no harm, she will happily come and sit on your legs for some quiet company.

Her Boundaries
Look, Don’t Lift: Vy strongly dislikes being picked up. She prefers to keep all four paws on the ground (or on your lap by her own choice).

Head Shy: While she enjoys back scratches, she can be a bit wary of hands coming toward her face. It’s best to let her sniff you first and keep the affection to her back until she’s fully comfortable.
