About Miami
⭐️ Meet Miami ⭐️
Miami is a quietly beautiful girl with a gentle, independent spirit. She’s the kind of kitten who prefers to take her time, happily watching the world from a safe little distance while she builds trust at her own pace.
She isn’t one for being picked up or fussed over too much, and she won’t be the kitten constantly in your lap—but that’s what makes her so special. Miami shows her love in more subtle, meaningful ways. She’ll be the first to greet you at the door when you come home, her sweet little face there to welcome you, and she keeps a quiet, comforting presence in your space. 💕
Food is definitely the way to her heart (as with many of us!), and with patience, kindness, and a calm environment, she will continue to grow in confidence and connection.
Miami would be best suited to a quieter home, ideally with an older individual or a single-person household without young children, where she can truly relax and be appreciated for who she is.
For someone who understands that love doesn’t always have to be loud or clingy, Miami will be an incredibly rewarding companion—soft, gentle, and always there in her own special way. 🐾✨

Rocky Roads is run completely by volunteers - as such sometimes we do not have the capacity to reply to every single application that comes through.
We understand that this may not be the best experience but we are working hard to ensure the people who give up their valuable time and lives to support the animals in our care are able to look after themselves and their families too.
Without them, there is no Rocky Roads Rescue.

~The Adoption Process~
⦿ Adoption enquiry comes through
⦿ One of the RR team will reach out to discuss the adoption process with you - we are volunteers, please allow time for us to reach out to you!
⦿ Meet and greet is organised and completed - you head home! 💚
⦿ Family chats to decide if this adoption is right for you!
⦿ Adoption fee is paid
⦿ Contracts are signed and returned to RR
⦿ Pick up your new family member
⦿ 2 week trial period - during this time you can call and text any questions, concerns, celebrations etc to us!
⦿ At the end of the 2 week trial period we send you desex certificates, vaccination certificates and the microchip will be submitted for transfer into your name
Please note that at Rocky Roads Rescue, we believe every kitten deserves the joy of companionship. To support their well-being and happiness, we generally do not adopt out single kittens. We encourage you to explore the concept of ‘single kitten syndrome’ to understand why having a furry friend is so important. Your new family member will thrive best with a feline buddy or a cat-friendly dog to share playtime and cuddles. However, on occasion, if a cats’s personality shows they prefer to be on their own, we may consider adopting them solo—this will be clearly specified in their adoption profile.
