Memphis is a certified big baby in the very best way. This lovable boy is equal parts cuddlebug and drama king, with a personality that will keep you smiling every single day. His signature move? A long, strung-out “maaaaooooowwe” as he wanders the house making sure he knows exactly where his humans are—because being near you is his absolute favourite thing. 💕
He’s a total sook at heart, craving affection and reassurance, and will happily follow you around just to stay close. Memphis loves a cuddle and is a big fan of gentle head bumps, but his most adorable trait has to be what happens when you pick him up… he turns into a complete deadweight in your arms, fully surrendering to the moment like the floppy, loved-up baby he is. 🥹
Being carried is one of his greatest joys, and he’ll soak up every second of it, purring away and melting into you like he belongs there (because he absolutely does).
Memphis is perfect for someone who wants a deeply affectionate, slightly dramatic, always-entertaining companion who will never let you feel alone. With his big heart and even bigger personality, he’s ready to fill his forever home with love, cuddles, and plenty of “conversations.” 🐾✨

Rocky Roads is run completely by volunteers - as such sometimes we do not have the capacity to reply to every single application that comes through.
We understand that this may not be the best experience but we are working hard to ensure the people who give up their valuable time and lives to support the animals in our care are able to look after themselves and their families too.
Without them, there is no Rocky Roads Rescue.

⦿ Adoption enquiry comes through
⦿ One of the RR team will reach out to discuss the adoption process with you - we are volunteers, please allow time for us to reach out to you!
⦿ Meet and greet is organised and completed - you head home! 💚
⦿ Family chats to decide if this adoption is right for you!
⦿ Adoption fee is paid
⦿ Contracts are signed and returned to RR
⦿ Pick up your new family member
⦿ 2 week trial period - during this time you can call and text any questions, concerns, celebrations etc to us!
⦿ At the end of the 2 week trial period we send you desex certificates, vaccination certificates and the microchip will be submitted for transfer into your name
Please note that at Rocky Roads Rescue, we believe every kitten deserves the joy of companionship. To support their well-being and happiness, we generally do not adopt out single kittens. We encourage you to explore the concept of ‘single kitten syndrome’ to understand why having a furry friend is so important. Your new family member will thrive best with a feline buddy or a cat-friendly dog to share playtime and cuddles. However, on occasion, if a cats’s personality shows they prefer to be on their own, we may consider adopting them solo—this will be clearly specified in their adoption profile.
