Meet Baha Mar, a 10-month-old ginger boy with sunshine in his fur and kitten energy still very much in his heart.

This lovely young lad is super sweet, easy to handle, and genuinely just a nice cat to be around. He's the kind of boy who leans into gentle attention, enjoys human company, and takes life in his stride. Baha Mar isn't complicated, he's friendly, soft-natured, and would much rather be hanging out with people than spending another day in the shelter.

At 10 months old, he's still very much in that in-between stage: not quite a tiny kitten anymore, but definitely still full of playful kitten behaviours. He enjoys exploring, investigating everything around him, and having little bursts of energy where he reminds you that he's still got plenty of youthful spark left in him.

Because of his age and nature, Baha Mar would suit a home that can give him both affection and enrichment, someone who enjoys a cat that will play, interact, and also settle in for a cuddle once he's had his fun.

More than anything, Baha Mar would love the chance to get out of the shelter and into a home where he can relax, grow up, and just be himself. He's a genuinely easygoing, affectionate boy who is ready to start the next chapter of his life with a family of his own.
