Meet Otis- a fun-loving, affectionate boy looking for an understanding home to call his own!

Otis is a big-hearted dog with an even bigger personality. He loves toys, loves playing with other dogs, and if you're sitting or lying on the ground, don't be surprised if he decides you're the perfect place to lounge. He can get a little carried away during playtime and is still learning that not every game needs to end with the toy being completely dismantled in record time!

Although loud noises or unfamiliar objects can occasionally catch him by surprise, Otis is not all nerves. He's a fun-loving, affectionate goofball who adores fetch, enjoys playing with other dogs, and throws himself enthusiastically into life. He is particularly brave when walking alongside other dogs and enjoys having canine friends around. He loves socialising and playing but doesn't always recognise when it's time to take a break, so ongoing guidance with doggy manners will help him continue to develop those skills.

While Otis is a gentle soul at heart, he can be sensitive to the busy and unpredictable nature of young children. For this reason, he would be best suited to a home with secondary school-aged children or older.

Otis loves his people and thrives on connection. Due to Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Separation Related Distress, he will need lifelong medication and a family committed to his continued behavioural care.

Otis is looking for a family who will embrace both his quirks and his charms. In return, he'll offer endless entertainment, unwavering loyalty, and plenty of love (along with the occasional toy casualty).
