Zola

Zola is a friendly and loving Irish Wolfhound cross who brings a gentle presence and a lot of heart to those around her. This sweet girl has a calm and affectionate nature, and she’s the kind of companion who will happily lean in for pats or quietly keep you company around the house. She’s eager to please and easy to train, already knowing her basic commands and taking treats with lovely manners, no snatching here, just polite enthusiasm. Zola walks well on lead most of the time and shows great promise for continuing to grow into a well-rounded companion.

She thrives on routine and connection, and while she enjoys being around people, she can feel a little anxious when left alone for long periods. Because of this, Zola would do best in a home where someone is around part of the day to help her feel secure and settled. She’s not particularly fussed about toys—she’d much rather spend time with her humans or keep an eye on the world around her—but she does have plenty of potential to blossom further with the right guidance and consistency.

Zola would suit a home without cats, as they make her quite nervous, and she’s still working on her confidence around other dogs, sometimes coming across as a bit reactive. With patience, positive experiences, and continued socialisation, she has all the ingredients to improve in this area. At her core, Zola is a loving, loyal girl who just wants to feel safe, understood, and part of the family—and in the right home, she’s sure to shine.
