About Bear
Bear is a 7.5 year old Mastiff x, a big, gentle presence with a loyal and affectionate nature. He is best suited to a home that understands large guardian breeds and can provide calm, consistent handling and structure.
Bear is social with other dogs and enjoys their company, but he could also thrive as a solo dog in the right home. If living with another dog, he tends to do best with female dogs and respectful introductions.
He enjoys getting out and about and makes a great companion for walks and adventure. He loves camping and hiking!
In the home, Bear settles well and enjoys relaxing near his people, and is happiest cuddled up next to you watching a movie. Being a larger dog, he would suit a home with a backyard.
Bear has a solid foundation of training. He has good recall, walks nicely on a loose leash, is crate trained, and travels well in the car. He is generally well-mannered and responsive, making him a pleasure to handle.
Bear is social with people but would be best suited to a home without young children. He will thrive in an environment that is calm and predictable, where his space and boundaries are respected.
He is a steady, loyal dog who will suit someone looking for a devoted companion. Bear is ready to find a home that can offer him stability, understanding, and the chance to be a valued part of the family.
