Meet Mort 🐾💖
Mort is the sweetest little survivor with a heart full of love. She came into care as a tiny kitten after being found abandoned on the street, and has since blossomed into an absolutely beautiful, affectionate young girl who’s ready to find her forever home.
This lovely lady has such a gentle, loving nature. She adores being around her people and will happily soak up all the pats, cuddles, and attention you have to give. Mort has truly thrived in care and now shows just how sweet and trusting she is every single day.
She’s also a big fan of her feline friends! Mort loves other cats and would absolutely enjoy having a playful companion in her home. Her favourite game? Chasing the feather wiggle wand like it’s her life mission—she’ll leap, pounce, and zoom around with the cutest determination. 🪶✨
And don’t let that sweet face fool you… Mort has a cheeky side too! She’s been known to try and sneak a snack or two if given the chance—keeping you on your toes with her playful little antics.
From a tiny abandoned kitten to a loving, affectionate girl, Mort is more than ready to start her next chapter with a family who will adore her just as much as she’ll adore them. 💕🐱

Rocky Roads is run completely by volunteers - as such sometimes we do not have the capacity to reply to every single application that comes through.
We understand that this may not be the best experience but we are working hard to ensure the people who give up their valuable time and lives to support the animals in our care are able to look after themselves and their families too.
Without them, there is no Rocky Roads Rescue.

~The Adoption Process~
⦿ Adoption enquiry comes through
⦿ One of the RR team will reach out to discuss the adoption process with you - we are volunteers, please allow time for us to reach out to you!
⦿ Meet and greet is organised and completed - you head home! 💚
⦿ Family chats to decide if this adoption is right for you!
⦿ Adoption fee is paid
⦿ Contracts are signed and returned to RR
⦿ Pick up your new family member
⦿ 2 week trial period - during this time you can call and text any questions, concerns, celebrations etc to us!
⦿ At the end of the 2 week trial period we send you desex certificates, vaccination certificates and the microchip will be submitted for transfer into your name
Please note that at Rocky Roads Rescue, we believe every kitten deserves the joy of companionship. To support their well-being and happiness, we generally do not adopt out single kittens. We encourage you to explore the concept of ‘single kitten syndrome’ to understand why having a furry friend is so important. Your new family member will thrive best with a feline buddy or a cat-friendly dog to share playtime and cuddles. However, on occasion, if a cats’s personality shows they prefer to be on their own, we may consider adopting them solo—this will be clearly specified in their adoption profile.
