🐾 Meet Mika – the Gentle Golden Girl Looking for Love 💛

Mika is a beautiful senior lady with a calm, loving nature and a heart full of devotion. She adores people and simply wants to be near her humans — whether that’s joining you for a gentle walk or snoozing peacefully by your side (often with a soft, endearing snore).

She still has a little bounce in her step and enjoys 1–2 relaxed walks a day. Mika walks beautifully on lead and will happily match your pace — though if she’s had enough, she’ll just stop and let you know (a hint of her sweet, stubborn side!).

Mika has lovely manners in the home. She’s fully house trained, can be left alone for a few hours without issue, and is just as content inside or out — as long as she’s close to her people. She’s friendly and gentle with new people, has been lovely with young children, and is calm around everyday sights and sounds.

She enjoys meeting other dogs but can be a little selective--if her hackles go up just walk on by. Mika has shown interest in chasing cats, so a cat-free home would be best.

A gentle, loving girl, Mika communicates beautifully — whether it’s asking for pats, letting you know she’s ready to come inside, or deciding she’s done with an activity. She loves a quiet game, chasing the hose, and a good brush.

Mika would suit a low-to-medium activity home where she can enjoy companionship, gentle exercise, and a relaxed lifestyle.

💛 A special note: Mika’s beloved owner has recently moved into care. It would mean the world if her new family might be open to occasional visits.
