About Sandy
Sandy is a quiet, shy little girl at first, but all she needs is a little time and space to feel safe. Once she settles in, her soft, loving personality starts to shine.
She may seem independent at first, but Sandy really does love to play. Toys are the quickest way to bring out her playful side, and she loves rumbling and tumbling with other kitten friends. Considering she is so small and sweet, she is surprisingly brave.
Sandy loves cozy naps, with her favorite spots being the bed or an office chair. On colder nights, she will often come closer for warmth, and when you are busy doing your own thing, she is happy to quietly sit beside you just to be near you.
She is a big purrer and absolutely loves being petted, especially ear rubs. When she flops over, it is her sweet way of asking for belly rubs. Sandy responds positively to being gently called, and when she feels comfortable, she will come over to sit close by.
Sandy is also a very curious little cat who enjoys quietly observing the world around her. When guests come over, she will often sit nearby and watch from a safe distance.
She has the cutest little appetite, gets very excited for treats, and her tiny full belly after eating is absolutely adorable. Her big doe-like eyes and her love of eye contact make her extra special.
Sandy would suit a calm and patient home where she can feel safe, loved, and allowed to come out of her shell in her own time.
Please note, due to our single kitten policy, Sandy must be adopted into a home with a friendly resident cat or adopted alongside another kitten. Her brother Indo is currently available for adoption also.

Adoption details
All animals adopted through Out of the Woods Rescue are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea/worm treated and health-checked. We aim to match each animal with a home that suits their needs and personality.
Here’s how our adoption process works:
Submit an application – This helps us get to know you, your household and what you're looking for in a pet.
Phone chat – If your application looks like a potential fit, one of our team members will contact you for a casual phone conversation to answer questions and discuss the animal in more detail.
Meet and greet – You’ll meet the animal in their foster home or another agreed location. If everyone agrees it’s a good match, we can proceed to adoption.
Adoption paperwork and payment – Our adoption fees cover desexing, microchipping, vaccination and parasite treatment.
Once adopted, the animal becomes part of your family. We're still here for post-adoption support if you ever need any help.
We’re committed to ethical adoptions and reserve the right to decline applications if we feel the match isn’t in the best interest of the animal.
