About Buddy
Buddy is a cat who needs a calm, structured home where he can settle at his own pace. He can be sensitive to change and may become stressed in new environments, so a patient and understanding approach will be important while he adjusts.
He still has room to build confidence and will benefit from an experienced owner who can read his body language and give him space when needed. Buddy may seek out affection on his own terms, but he does not enjoy being picked up. All interaction should happen with all four paws on the ground, allowing him to feel secure and in control.
Buddy is best suited to an adult-only home where he can have a predictable routine without too much activity around him. He would do best as the only cat, as other animals may add to his stress.
With time and the right environment, Buddy can continue to grow in confidence. He will suit someone who is willing to go at his pace and provide a stable, low-pressure home.
Best with Children Aged: adult household only
