Gidday! I am the handsome Max- your classic Jack Russell: full of love, affection and happiness with an energiser bunny sized enthusiasm for fun.

I absolutely love going for walks and exploring the world around. I am a great walker on a lead and don't pull at all... unless , of course, I come across a tree that I absolutely must sniff and you forget to stop!

Like most Jack Russells, I am a social being. I really enjoy the company of other JRs and actually live with two in my foster home. I can be intimidated by dogs larger than me and fluffy dogs can be rather scary too, so I am well suited to living with other JRs or as an only dog. As an only dog, however, I would need to have someone home with me as much as possible. After all, I am a very social little fellow!

It is essential that my new family are experienced with the Jack Russell breed to ensure I have the best life ever. If you have had a Jack Russell in your family before, you will completely understand why that is a requirement to adopt me!

Being young, I love to zoom, so would love a good sized yard to burn up my energy. And a daily walk would be fabulous!

My down time favourite activity is watching TV, especially Pound Patrol. I can be amused for hours watching the pooches on the screen getting up to all the mischief I can't!

I am very eager to please and try so hard to be the best behaved dog you could ever meet. If you are looking for a loyal companion who will be right beside you through the good times and the bad, then I am the perfect dog for you. I sit, lie down, am crate trained (although I do love afternoon naps with my human on the bed), never bark and am completely house trained.

Tbh, I am the perfect package of affection, loyalty and love. If you have a Jack Russell sized hole in your life that needs to be filled, I am the perfect pooch for you.
