About Winston
Winston is a 10-month-old Frenchie X with a big personality and an even bigger zest for life. This confident young man is always up for fun and games, and ready to find a forever home that will match his playful spirit.
Winston has had surgery for a cherry eye, but this has now healed well.
Winston loves to be wherever the action is. Walks, swims, tug of war, chase. You name the game, he’ll give it a go. And as an added bonus his goofy antics are guaranteed to give you a laugh.
He would enjoy having a small doggy companion to play with, but would also be perfectly happy as the only dog if he’s getting plenty of love, activity and attention from his humans.
He is suited to dog-savvy older kids (10+) who understand how to interact respectfully with a playful young dog.
Winston is toilet trained, can use a doggy door and has learnt basic commands like sit and wait. He is making fantastic progress with recall and loose leash walking. He genuinely enjoys training and thrives with clear boundaries and mental stimulation, so ongoing training will help him continue to grow into a well-mannered gentleman.
The ideal home for Winston:
. An active family who can provide daily walks, playtime and adventures
. A home committed to ongoing training and positive reinforcement
. People who can keep him mentally enriched and physically engaged
. A family who understands he’s still young and full of puppy energy so boundaries are essential.
He is content at home for short periods provided he has enrichment to keep him out of mischief. He sleeps beautifully through the night on his own bed in close proximity to his people.
Medical notes
Has had surgery for a cherry eye.
