Durkis didn't exactly get the deluxe kitten starter pack but after being rescued at 3 months old he's fully embraced the luxurious indoor lifestyle he believes he was always destined for.
These days, this mighty gladiator prefers the comforts of indoor life. His battles now consist of conquering toy mice, defending sunny spots on the couch, and vanquishing entire bowls of food with remarkable efficiency.
If you've ever wanted to mentor a slightly confused, extremely adorable street goblin whose greatest battle is deciding whether to nap on the couch or the bed, Durkis Maximus may be your guy.

Adoption details
Our mission is to find loving homes for every pet we rescue. We ensure a perfect match by placing our cats in suitable indoor environments, either strictly indoors or indoors with a secure outdoor enclosure. This protects both your cat, and the local wildlife.
Our thorough adoption process includes:
Adoption form: Provides us with essential information about your lifestyle and suitability for cat ownership.
Phone interview: Allows us to discuss your expectations and answer any questions you may have.
Video or physical house inspection: Ensures your home provides a safe and comfortable environment for the cat.
Adoption fee: Helps cover the costs of veterinary care for our rescued animals.
2-week trial period: Gives you and the cat time to adjust and bond before finalizing the adoption.
As of July 2021, the adoption of desexed animals from a registered rehoming organization means you'll receive free lifetime registration for your new pet. We are a designated registered pet rescue organization with the Office of Local Government, complying with section 88B of the Companion Animals Act 1998.
All our cats come microchipped, desexed, minimum 1st vaccination (depending on age), flea-treated, wormed and with a free NSW Lifetime Registration.

1. Returns & Refund Policy
First 2 Weeks: No refunds are given for cats returned during the 2-week trial period to ensure they are given sufficient time to adjust.
Up to 1 Month: A $50 admin fee applies to any approved refunds requested between the end of the 2-week trial and the end of the first month of adoption.
Future Surrenders: No refunds are available after the first month, and a surrender fee may apply if the cat is returned to our care in the future.
2. Application Outcomes We aim to review and respond to applications within 1–3 days. Due to high volume, we can only contact successful applicants. If you haven’t heard from us within this timeframe, your application has not been successful this time. No further action is required on your part, and we truly appreciate your support.
