About Henry
Meet Henry, a loyal and affectionate German Shorthaired Pointer who's ready to become your devoted companion. Possessing a heart full of love and an inquisitive spirit, Henry is as devoted as they come, always eager to be by your side, eagerly joining in on any adventure or snuggling session.
Henry thrives in an active environment and would enjoy being with someone as passionate about exploration and play as he is. Whether it's a hike in the hills, a game of fetch, or a leisurely walk through your neighbourhood, Henry's happy place is by your side. He dreams of having plenty of space to roam and explore, so an owner with ample outdoor space would be ideal for him.
As a true cuddle buddy, Henry adores quiet moments at the end of an active day, where he can curl up beside you and relax. His natural instinct as a "shadow companion" means he will lovingly follow you from room to room, always offering his unwavering loyalty and companionship.
For those familiar with the energetic and spirited nature of a German Shorthaired Pointer, Henry is sure to become an irreplaceable part of your life, providing boundless affection and adventure in equal measure. Henry is patiently waiting for a devoted companion to share his boundless enthusiasm and zest for life.
Medical notes
Henry has a clotting disorder. His clotting test (PT and APTT) was normal and buccal mucosal bleeding time is prolonged which confirms a primary clotting disorder .
Dogs with clotting disorders can live a normal and fulfilling life.
To help manage the condition in particular situations, I recommend the following:
- have a discussion your vet if any planned surgery is needed in the future prior to the day of surgery
- make sure your vet is aware of a clotting disorder for any emergency surgery or situations
- you may need to seek veterinary attention for your pet if he has a deep wound that won't stop bleeding.
