About Tangerine rsta014522
This gorgeous ginger lady may be a little shy at first, but don’t let that fool you—once Tangerine feels safe and settled, her true personality comes to life in the most delightful way.
New people and unfamiliar environments can make her nervous, so she’ll need a calm home and a patient person who can give her the time she needs to adjust. But once she’s comfortable, Tangerine blossoms into a busy, affectionate companion who absolutely loves being near her people.
Tangerine isn’t a fan of being on her own for long periods, so she would be happiest in a home where someone is around most of the time—whether that’s working from home or simply spending lots of time with her. When she does have to entertain herself, plenty of toys will help keep her busy.
Be warned—this lovely lady fully expects to be part of everything you do! Your couch, your chair, and even your bed will quickly become her favourite spots… right beside you.
If you’re looking for a devoted, people-loving feline family member who will fill your home with warmth (and maybe take over your furniture), Tangerine could be your perfect match

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
