About Tilly STK014573
Tilly is a beautiful young girl with a story of resilience. She came to us as a nervous stray, battling a nasty infection. Thanks to lots of care and treatment, she’s now feeling so much better and ready to find her forever home.
Tilly does have a slight head tilt as a result of her past infection—but it doesn’t slow her down one bit. She still plays, explores, and zooms around just like any other teenager. It simply means she sees the world from her own unique (and very endearing) angle.
She can be a little shy when meeting new people, so she’ll need a patient person who can give her the time and space to settle in and build trust. Once she feels safe, don’t be surprised when her true personality shines through—after all, she is a self-respecting Torti teen who will no doubt take charge in her own time!
Tilly is looking for a loving indoor-only home where she can stay safe and continue to thrive.
If you’re ready to give a special girl the time she needs to blossom, Tilly will reward you with a lifetime of companionship and love.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
