About Ziggy
Meet Ziggy – A Quiet Soul With a Big Heart 🩷
Ziggy is a beautiful 7-year-old girl with a sensitive nature and a deeply loving heart waiting to be discovered.
Ziggy has been much loved her whole life, but recently his family’s circumstances changed and they had to make the difficult decision to find her a new home.
Ziggy is naturally a shy girl and prefers to take her time getting to know new people and surroundings. She likes to feel safe and have her own quiet spaces where she can retreat and observe the world from a distance.
But once Ziggy decides you’re one of her people, her true nature begins to shine. She has a gentle, beautiful heart and will show her affection through soft nudges, quiet companionship and sweet little cuddles, always on her own terms.
Ziggy is also quite sensitive to sudden noises or surprises, so a calm, patient home where she can move at her own pace will help her feel safe and confident.
Being in the shelter environment is very overwhelming for her, so the Ziggy we see right now is much more subdued than the joyful girl she usually is. In a loving home with a couple of cosy hiding spots and the freedom to retreat when she needs to, we know her personality will blossom again.
The lucky person who adopts Ziggy will be rewarded with the quiet, special bond that only a gentle soul like her can give.

Adoption details
You need to be a pretty special cat person to adopt an elderly cat into your home. Not as sprightly as a kitten they still require your attention…even devotion. You’ll need to understand their daily routines and take some time to get to know them. Help them with grooming – a great way to bond- as they often don’t have the energy to do it properly themselves. Older cats are stress averse so be patient, observant and take a little more care of their health needs and you’ll soon have a loving companion.
All our cats have received a full health & wellness check and are ready for their new home.
