Don is one of those kittens who doesn't shine in a busy shelter but that's only because it's not where he's meant to be.

This little guy is ridiculously cute, the kind of kitten you can't help but fall for, but the noise, movement, and constant handling here can be overwhelming for him. Don is a sensitive soul who gets a bit worried when things are too busy or hands come at him too quickly. Because of that, he tends to hang back, watching the world instead of jumping into it.

But here's the thing, we've seen glimpses of who Don really is.

Underneath that nervous exterior is a kitten just waiting to feel safe. The kind who will bond deeply with his person. The kind who will learn to trust, to play, to seek out affection, on his terms, in his time. The kind of cat who becomes your cat in the most special way.

Don doesn't need a perfect home. He just needs a patient one.

Someone who understands that love isn't always instant. Someone willing to give him the space to come out of his shell. Someone who sees past the scared little kitten in the cage and imagines the confident, loving companion he could become.
