About Theo & Ronnie
Meet Theo and Ronnie, a truly special bonded pair of cats who are looking for their forever home together.
These two are incredibly affectionate, loving souls who adore people and thrive on gentle companionship. They are wonderfully low-maintenance, happy to relax, cuddle, and simply be near their humans, making them perfect for a calm, stable household.
Ronnie, a 9-year-old beautiful gray female, is an absolute angel in a cat’s body. Sweet-natured and confident, she steps out of her carrier ready for pats and quickly claims the best nap spot in the house, often your bed! She is the calm, steady presence everyone dreams of: a true lap cat who melts hearts with her gentle affection.
Ronnie loves chin and head scratches, long cuddles, and being softly picked up and held. She spends much of her day peacefully sleeping but always seems to know when you need quiet company and comfort. Her placid, low-maintenance personality makes her a joy to live with, and she has the sweetest maternal soft spot for Theo, looking after him with protective care.
Theo, a charming 7-year-old ginger boy, is a fluffy orange bundle of personality, a playful goofball wrapped in clouds. While he can be a little shy at first, with time, love, and patience his beautiful personality blossoms. Soon you’ll have a smoochy little gentleman who loves cuddles, head scratches, and belly rubs.
Energetic and curious, he enjoys exploring, playing, following his humans around the house, and “talking back” in his sassy, chatty way. Once comfortable, Theo’s affection is pure gold.
Together, Ronnie and Theo complement each other perfectly. You’ll often find them cuddled up close, with Ronnie’s calm confidence helping Theo feel secure. Their special bond is beautiful to watch and truly heartwarming.
Theo and Ronnie were deeply loved by their previous cat mum, but due to demanding work commitments that kept her away from home and the possibility of moving overseas, she made the selfless decision that they deserved a stable, consistent environment where they could feel safe and cherished every day.
They would thrive in a calm, patient household that appreciates quiet companionship as well as playful moments. They are ideal for a senior looking for affectionate cats to sit on their knee, or anyone who can offer a warm, indoor home and the time for Theo to settle in at his own pace.
If you have space in your heart for gentle purrs, sweet conversations, and two loving companions who will brighten your days, this pair will feel like home.
Theo & Ronnie have been desexed, microchipped, and vaccinated. They are currently being cared for by their amazing foster family in Southbank and are available for adoption right meow!
If you think you can give this gorgeous duo the loving, stable forever home they deserve, please let us know we’d be delighted to arrange a time for you to meet and fall completely in love with them.
About Us
Urban Feline Australia is a small, independent cat rescue dedicated to saving surrendered cats from kill shelters and finding them loving, permanent homes.
Founded and run by a passionate animal lover with the support of dedicated friends and volunteers, we specialise in caring for cats that have previously lived in family homes but, for various reasons, can no longer stay with their owners.
Since our inception, we have been fortunate to build a small but dedicated network of volunteer foster carers. These compassionate individuals welcome the surrendered cats into their homes, providing them with love, care, and a safe environment while we search for their perfect forever families.
As a tiny, grassroots rescue with no government funding or large facilities, every rescue is powered by compassion, community support, and a genuine commitment to animal welfare.
All adoption fees and donations go directly toward the essential needs of the cats in our care — including premium food, veterinary treatment, litter, equipment, and ongoing medical support. We rely heavily on the generosity of our foster carers, volunteers, and supporters to continue our work.
Our long-term vision is to expand so we can help even more cats in need. This includes securing a larger dedicated property and, one day, possibly opening a cat café to raise awareness and funds while creating a welcoming space for cat lovers.
How You Can Help
As a small, independent rescue, we depend entirely on the kindness and generosity of our supporters and animal lovers like you. We are always in need of foster carers. If you have a safe, loving temporary home and would like to help us care for a cat on their journey to their forever family, please get in touch. The more foster homes we have, the more cats we can save.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about Urban Feline Australia.

Adoption details
We try to make things very easy and straight forward while at the same time making sure we are matching the right cat to the right home.
The first step in the adoption process is a quick chat over the phone to make you are able meet the cats needs and your home is a good fit for the cats personality.
From there we will organize a meet and greet the cats foster home where you will be able to see the cat in action and get a gauge of their personality.
Once you have adopted you new furry feline friend we offer ongoing support and you are welcome to contact us anytime if you have questions, concerns or need advice.
We work hard to make sure that each cat is a good fit for their new home but in the unlikely even that things do not work out we have a 21 day cooling off period and you are more than welcome to return the cat to us during that time.
We will happily refund 50% of the adoption fee or you are welcome to donate this refund to assist with the ongoing cost of the animals care.
