About Taco
Taco – Handsome 2-Year-Old Blue-Eyed Boy Looking for His Forever Home with a Big Dog!
Meet Taco! This gorgeous 2-year-old male cat is a total stunner with striking big blue eyes and a charming personality that shines brighter every day.
Taco is a playful, cuddly sweetheart who loves nothing more than curling up next to you in bed for a good night’s sleep. He’s incredibly affectionate once he feels safe and settled – he may start off a little shy and anxious in new situations, but he quickly warms up and becomes a loving lap cat who wants to be part of everything you do.
Taco’s Favourite Things:
Dogs! Taco is a dog lover through and through. He’s very confident around them, happily plays rough-and-tumble games (even with much bigger dogs), and then cuddles up for naps afterwards. He often prefers the dog bed over his own! We’re ideally looking for a home with a big, dog-friendly dog who enjoys having a feline playmate.
Playtime & Outdoors: He loves chasing bugs, basking in the sun, and exploring outside. He can wear a harness, but he’s more of a free spirit who likes to do his own thing rather than go for structured walks.
Training & Treats: Taco is very food-motivated! He’s already learned to sit for his dinner and would be easy to teach more tricks. Mealtimes are his favourite part of the day.
Important Information for His Forever Home:
No other cats please – Taco does not get along with other cats and needs to be the only feline in the home.
Anxiety support: Taco came into care after not getting along with the other cat in his previous home. He is currently on anti-depressant medication (which he takes easily mixed in his food) to help manage his anxiety. In a calm, loving home with the right routine and plenty of doggy companionship, we’re hopeful he can be gradually weaned off his medication and return to his fully relaxed, confident self.
Travel: He finds car rides quite stressful, so he would do best in a home where he doesn’t need to travel frequently.
Taco is a wonderful, fun-loving boy who is ready to thrive in a patient, understanding home. He would be happiest with a big dog to play and cuddle with, a safe space to explore outside (supervised or in a secure yard), and owners who are happy to give him time to settle in and build that special bond.
If you have a big dog with a gentle (or playful!) heart and are ready to welcome a handsome, food-motivated, blue-eyed adventurer into your family, Taco would love to meet you.
Taco is approximately 2 years old and has been desexed, microchipped and vaccinated and is available for adoption right meow.
If you think you have the room in your heart and your home to provide this gorgeous little fella with a great life please let us know and we’ll be more than happy to arrange a time for you to meet and fall in love with him.

About Us
Urban Feline Australia is a small, independent cat rescue dedicated to saving surrendered cats from kill shelters and finding them loving, permanent homes.
Founded and run by a passionate animal lover with the support of dedicated friends and volunteers, we specialise in caring for cats that have previously lived in family homes but, for various reasons, can no longer stay with their owners.
Since our inception, we have been fortunate to build a small but dedicated network of volunteer foster carers. These compassionate individuals welcome the surrendered cats into their homes, providing them with love, care, and a safe environment while we search for their perfect forever families.
As a tiny, grassroots rescue with no government funding or large facilities, every rescue is powered by compassion, community support, and a genuine commitment to animal welfare.
All adoption fees and donations go directly toward the essential needs of the cats in our care — including premium food, veterinary treatment, litter, equipment, and ongoing medical support. We rely heavily on the generosity of our foster carers, volunteers, and supporters to continue our work.
Our long-term vision is to expand so we can help even more cats in need. This includes securing a larger dedicated property and, one day, possibly opening a cat café to raise awareness and funds while creating a welcoming space for cat lovers.
How You Can Help
As a small, independent rescue, we depend entirely on the kindness and generosity of our supporters and animal lovers like you. We are always in need of foster carers. If you have a safe, loving temporary home and would like to help us care for a cat on their journey to their forever family, please get in touch. The more foster homes we have, the more cats we can save.

Adoption details
We try to make things very easy and straight forward while at the same time making sure we are matching the right cat to the right home.
The first step in the adoption process is a quick chat over the phone to make you are able meet the cats needs and your home is a good fit for the cats personality.
From there we will organize a meet and greet the cats foster home where you will be able to see the cat in action and get a gauge of their personality.
Once you have adopted you new furry feline friend we offer ongoing support and you are welcome to contact us anytime if you have questions, concerns or need advice.
We work hard to make sure that each cat is a good fit for their new home but in the unlikely even that things do not work out we have a 21 day cooling off period and you are more than welcome to return the cat to us during that time.
We will happily refund 50% of the adoption fee or you are welcome to donate this refund to assist with the ongoing cost of the animals care.
