Hi, I’m Sully… short for Sullivan, if I’m being formal 😌
I’m a big, gentle young guy, born 28 July 2025, and I’ve got a pretty simple goal in life — find my people and stick by them.
I’m already around 35kg and growing every day, so it’s safe to say I’m going to be a big boy.
My mum is a black and white Great Dane x Bullmastiff, and my dad is a rich tan Bullmastiff x Ridgeback — so I’ve ended up with a pretty special combination of size, loyalty and a beautiful, people-loving nature.
I love attention, I love being around my humans, and I’m happiest when I’m part of whatever is going on. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate dog who wants to be right there with you… that’s me.
I’ve got not a mean bone in my body. I’m gentle, friendly and especially good with kids — although I might be a bit big and enthusiastic for the really little ones.
I’m currently living with two other big dogs and doing just fine, but between you and me… I wouldn’t mind being your one and only. I really do love soaking up all the attention 😏
A few things about me:
👉 I’ll keep an eye on the house — I take my watchdog duties seriously
👉 I’m not suited to homes with cats
👉 Baths? Not my favourite… but I’ll tolerate them if I must 😄
I’m a strong, growing boy, so I’ll need a home with secure fencing and people who understand large breeds and can keep guiding me as I grow.
What I really want is a family who will include me, spend time with me, and let me be the loyal, loving dog I was meant to be.
Because once I’m your dog… I’m your dog ❤️

Adoption details
Dogs:
(1) The first step is to complete the online adoption application form at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ Please answer all questions and include photos of your yard and fencing.
(2) All applications will be considered by our Adoption Team, following which a "meet and greet" will be offered to the top-ranking applicant.
(3) If the “meet and greet" is successful, the applicant may adopt the dog and take him or her home the same day.
(4) For successful interstate applicants, different arrangements may apply and will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
Cats:
If you are interested in one of our cats or kittens, please click on the green "Enquire about ...", button, tell us a bit about yourself and the home you can offer the cat, and one of our volunteers will be in touch.
