Meet Oatmeal.

At 6 years old, Oatmeal is a soft, sensitive soul who's finding the world a little overwhelming right now. He tends to keep his distance, turning his head away and avoiding interaction, not because he doesn't care, but because he's still learning that he's safe.

Oatmeal doesn't ask for anything. He doesn't reach out, doesn't demand attention... he just sits there, small and unsure, hoping that maybe someone kind will understand him without needing him to be brave right away.

He needs a very calm, patient home-someone who will let him exist quietly, without pressure, and love him exactly as he is. Someone who sees the beauty in the shy ones, the ones who take a little longer, the ones who feel everything just a bit more deeply.

Maybe one day, with enough time and softness, he'll inch a little closer. Maybe he'll sit near you, or stay when you walk into the room. And those tiny moments? They'll mean everything.

He's not ready to shine just yet... he just needs someone willing to sit beside him while he slowly, softly warms up, because even the quietest hearts deserve to feel like home.
