About Draco - 3 Year Old Kelpie X Koolie
You might not realise how much joy a smart, energetic dog can bring into your life… until you meet Draco.
Draco is a big-hearted, goofy-goober with plenty of quirks and personality. He loves to play, thrives on interaction (did someone say play?!), and has a sweet, slightly silly nature that’s guaranteed to keep you smiling.
As a Kelpie x Koolie, Draco is a true working breed with plenty of energy to burn. He’ll do best in an active home that can provide both mental and physical stimulation, along with ongoing training and enrichment. He already knows some basic commands, is toilet trained, and happily sleeps in his crate overnight. Right now, he’s building his confidence with lead walking, recall, and learning to settle during the day in his crate. After a good play session, he’s more than happy to flop over for a belly rub and relax with his people to watch some TV.
Draco can be a little shy when meeting new people, but he warms up quickly with gentle encouragement. He’ll thrive in a home that offers patience, structure, and a consistent routine to help him continue growing in confidence.
Draco would love:
- A patient, experienced owner familiar with high-energy working breeds
- A large, secure yard where he can safely run and play (he loves his zoomies)
- Someone committed to continuing his training, exercise, and enrichment
With the right person or family, Draco is going to be an incredibly loyal, fun, and rewarding companion.
Draco is in foster care in Blue Haven, NSW. His adoption fee is $600 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.
