Willow is a beautiful 2-year-old Border Collie with all the traits her breed is known for—intelligence, energy, and a big personality. She’s a bright, playful girl who forms strong bonds with her people and thrives when given structure and understanding.

The Perfect Home

****Willow will need a person who is very experienced with working breeds, especially border collies. She is not a cafe or dog park dog as she can become fearful of crowds of dogs and people.
Willow definitely favours women and can be worried around men. This will become better the more that she is quietly and patiently introduced.****

****Beautiful Willow will need a rural or semi rural home as suburban life is just way too busy.****

Willow is looking for a calm, patient, and experienced home—ideally someone familiar with working breeds and willing to continue her training journey. She will need time, consistency, and gentle guidance, but she gives back tenfold in loyalty and affection.
She would love a home with a large, secure yard or property where she can run, play, and explore to her heart’s content.
Willow can enjoy the company of other dogs, especially calm, well-matched companions, but she will need slow, thoughtful introductions. Due to her sensitivity and energy levels, she would be best suited to a home with older, dog-savvy children or an adult-only household.
She is currently living with a cat and does well overall—she may become excited if the cat runs, but she responds well to the “leave it” command.

Willow has a deeply loving and loyal nature. Once she feels safe, she becomes incredibly affectionate and devoted to her people. She loves to play—especially tug—and enjoys games that engage both her body and mind.

Training & Behaviour
Willow knows her basic commands, is crate trained, and settles well in her own space. She is currently working on her on-lead manners and improving steadily with consistent training.
In new or overwhelming environments, Willow can become reactive, and she is currently fearful of men. With patience, positive experiences, and ongoing training, she is building confidence and learning to feel safe. Once she trusts you, her true, affectionate personality shines.
