Hi, my name is Bean!
I’m a 1-year-old Blue Cattle Dog with a gentle, sensitive nature. I absolutely love being around other dogs—there’s nothing better than a good run-and-chase game with a canine friend. I also adore toys, especially soft teddy ones (though underwear is secretly my favourite for a cheeky game of “swoop and run”… don’t worry, I never destroy them!).

I’m good with cats too—I currently live with one and happily sleep nearby. I may chase if invited to play, but I’m always gentle and never aggressive.

**Bean is looking for a quiet peaceful home…..no coffee shops or dog parks…..just nature and her very own family. Bean will not cope in the suburbs and must have another calm friendly dog in her new family.
This little dog had a very rough start to life and needs someone who will not expect too much of her until she bonds.**

💛 My Personality
I’m a nervous and cautious girl who didn’t have much human contact early in life, so I need time and patience to feel safe. I don’t enjoy being touched unless I feel comfortable, and if I’m overwhelmed I may freeze rather than react.
That said, I do love being near my people. I enjoy quietly hanging out and watching what’s going on once I feel settled. I’m curious, gentle, and slowly learning that humans can be safe and kind.

🏡 My Perfect Home
I’m looking for a calm, understanding home where I can continue to grow at my own pace. Ideally, my new home will have:
At least one friendly, confident dog (this is very important to me!)
A quiet environment without lots of visitors
A secure yard where I can run and play safely
Patient humans who understand that trust takes time
A busy social lifestyle isn’t for me—I feel safest at home and don’t need to go out and about much.

🎓 Training & Routine
I am fully crate trained and happily go to bed on cue (“into bed”)
Mealtimes are my absolute favourite—I do excited zoomies before settling into my crate to eat
I’m still learning to walk on leash and will be continuing training to build confidence

🚗 Important Notes
I do not travel well and get car sick even on short trips, so I’ll need a home close to my current location
I’m not reactive or aggressive—I just need space and understanding when I feel unsure
