About Polly
Meet Polly 🤍🐾
Polly is a young white and grey beauty with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. She has spent time in foster care being an exceptional mum, raising her kittens into confident, happy young cats-and now it's finally her turn to shine.
Having done the hard work of motherhood, Polly is ready to retire from parenting and settle into a forever home where she can be the centre of attention she so richly deserves. She's affectionate, sweet-natured, and enjoys the calm comforts of home life, thriving on human companionship and quiet moments shared together.
Polly would love a home where she can soak up all the love, pats, and admiration without having to share the spotlight. She's ready to trade kitten chaos for cozy naps, gentle play, and being your devoted companion.
If you're looking for a loving, devoted cat who's ready to be cherished after giving so much to others, Polly is waiting patiently to make your home her own. 💕
To book a meet and greet with Polly, please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal. Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
