About Lily
From being abandoned and then surviving parvo, Lily is the sweetest little girl you could ever meet. She is gentle, affectionate, and so eager to feel safe.
She’s wonderful with cats, great with other dogs, and absolutely adores people.
Lily has discovered her love of toys; she collects them in her bed and enjoys them all (tough stuffies only!).
She's only a little girl at 7.5kg so we would expect her to be around 11-12kg when fully grown (would be out best guess based on her size and weight at this age).
We feel she's crossed with something much smaller, possibly whippet from her physique.
From the timid little girl who arrived, she had also found a love for wrestling with her foster sister, a much larger dog, but she takes on the challenge with ease and a glint of mischief in her eyes.
Lily needs someone gentle, someone who will show her that the world isn’t as scary as it once was and reassure her when she goes on outings. Once out and about she is more confident but can be a little unsure at the start.
She sleeps in her crate at night and has only had a couple of accidents on her pee pads since being in care.
Whoever opens their heart to this little girl won’t just be adopting a dog… they’ll be giving a survivor the happy ending she’s fought so hard for. And in return, Lily will love you unconditionally.

Lily will be due her desex early in May. Her desex cost will be covered by the rescue as part of her adoption fee.

How to Adopt: A Step-By-Step Guide:
1. Browse Our Selection: Visit our Animals page and use the menu to view the various pets we have available. Choose between cats and dogs to narrow your search.
2. Expression of Interest: Found a pet that captures your heart? Reach out to us for an Expression of Interest (EOI) form to initiate the process.
3. Patience is a Virtue: We meticulously review every EOI to ensure each animal goes to the right home. Thank you for your patience during this critical stage.
4. Meet Your Potential Pet: If your EOI is approved, we'll organise a Meet & Greet session. It’s a great opportunity for both you and the animal to see if it’s a perfect match.
5. Adoption Application & Home Review: If you're ready to move forward, you'll need to complete our adoption application and agree to a home review.
6. Review & Approval: Your application and home review will be assessed to guarantee a secure, loving environment for your potential pet.
7. Adoption Fee: Upon approval, you'll be required to pay the non-negotiable adoption fee. This fee directly supports our animal care efforts.
8. Welcome Home: Once the fee is processed, we'll coordinate the special day when you can bring your new pet home.
