About Sammy
Introducing Sammy – a little panther in the making!
Sammy is quite the unique boy—he couldn’t decide between being a medium-haired or long-haired cat, so he’s become a charming mix of both. And yes, he is every bit as handsome as he sounds!
This sweet, gentle soul absolutely loves a cuddle. He’s still learning that brushes are for grooming (not playtime!), but he’s getting there. Sammy would thrive in a home where he can be showered with attention and love. He may also enjoy the company of another feline-friendly cat, as he’s currently in care with adult cats and is happily social with them.
Like all kittens, Sammy is full of personality—playful and full of beans one moment, then fast asleep the next.
If you’re an experienced long-haired cat owner looking to add a touch of class to your home, Sammy could be your perfect match.
To meet Sammy, please apply via his profile. If your application is successful, one of our volunteers will be in touch to arrange a meet & greet.
Sammy is currently in foster care in Doonside.
Adoption details
STUFF YOU NEED TO KNOW: I will come desexed, vaccinated (1st F3) and microchipped and will have up to date worm and flea treatments.
ADOPTING ME: You must be able to provide me with a loving long term and safe home. I would be fine in an apartment as long as I didn't have free run of the balcony if it wasn't fully enclosed. Please ensure your house or apartment can contain a cat inside (ie fly screens etc).
Please remember that I have thought seriously about taking you on and when you take me home, I am committing to you for life. So, I hope you have thought seriously about this and are likewise planning on committing to me.
ABOUT YOU: Given you know all about me, my foster parents would like to know something about who my new parents are going to be. They have rescued me and have given me a lot of care and love. I know they love me and therefore want the best for me.
ABOUT US: AWL Western Suburbs branch wants to promote adoptions of cats from our foster carers & pounds. If you would like to help us, please feel free to contact us and find out how you may assist, including being a foster parent.
All adoptions will require a Pre-adoption application form completed and returned prior to a meet & greet with our cats. Please note that several people may be applying for the same cat so we need time to review all applicants. We do not re-home to the first to apply, we re-home to who best suits the needs of the cat or kitten. All applications will be considered individually and approval will be at the discretion of the AWL NSW Branch Representative, with their decision being final.
