Marvelous Monica and Magnificent Maddison!!
Monica and Maddison are two beautiful sisters looking for their forever homes together. Monica and Maddison were born into the Ballarat East cat colony and have been very brave about learning to trust humans.
Monica is a sweet and gentle cat who will love to follow you around the house and rub up against your legs waiting for a pat, she is quick to purr and has slowly been learning to play with toys which she absolutely adores!
Maddison is also a sweetheart with a very unique look! She has cute stumpy legs and a tail that curls on her back like a squirrel. Her temperament is more timid than Monica's but given time she also loves a pat and will purr super loudly to get your attention.
They love to entertain themselves by running around the house playing with toys, chasing each other and wrestling. When they're not playing they're either asking for attention or sitting by the window looking out at the world.
As they were both born wild in a cat colony, they are both generally timid cats who will flourish with a patient family that is willing to give them the chance to go at their own pace. They would suit a quiet family with no young children who are looking for a pair of more independent cats that are bonded at the hip.
While they may take a bit of time to warm up the wait is worth it because they are such gorgeous girls who are an absolute joy and pleasure to live with.
They are untested with dogs but get along very well with other cats given a slow introduction.
Monica and Maddison are indoor only cats living an indoor only life now!
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions. Both girls have been fully vet worked and health checked.

Thank you for your interest in a rescue cat! They can make the most wonderful friends and family members.
Our rescue cats have varied histories and stories and as such they each require a different home environment, we ask prospective adopters a series of questions aimed at making the perfect match so please dont be offended when asked questions. We do not adopt to a first in first serve basis and only adopt to the most suitable home possible. If you are outside Ballarat we ask that you make time to have a 30 minute video-chat with us and the kitty you are interested in so we can get to know you a little better and you can see the kitty in its home environment before coming up to Ballarat to adopt, if you are local then we hold a meet and greet at the foster home of the kitty. We only offer video chats and meet and greets to the most suitable homes.
All of our cats at Cat Lovers Ballarat are rehomed as strictly INDOOR ONLY cats and we ask that all prospective adopters only apply if they are capable and comfortable with this.
Please have patience with us as we go through all applications and make our decisions to move onto phase 2 and offer meet and greets, this can take days and sometimes a week to go through, you will be contacted whether you are successful or not.
