He's the French guy you never knew you needed.
Franklin lives for people, he'd really love a man in his life and a pal to enjoy cheese night with.
He will spend all day by your side, as close as you'll physically allow, only stopping to do zoomies with his teddy and sniff about for any cheeky snacks the kids have left behind.
Franklin loves hard and dedicates his whole being to you and his cheese addiction.
Franklin only needs a short, 10-minute walk in the morning and afternoon to feel content, entertaining you with his excited dance whilst his harness goes on.
He gets along with other chill, female dog pals but prefers to parallel play on his own. We believe he will suit a home where he is the only dog for you, as he has shown some resource guarding when the other dogs in the home try to sample whatever he is enjoying.
Franklin has been expanding on his manners, learning sit and paw, toilet training and contentedly sleeping in a crate overnight.
Franklin currently resides with primary and pre-school-aged children, and while gentle with them, he does occasionally jump up.
Franklin will make one lucky family a devoted and hilarious companion!
Medical notes
Franklin came to us with chronic skin irritation and ear infections. The ear infections have resolved but will be something a new home will need to manage for life.
His ventrum/tummy has thickened skin which we manage with medicated washes, cytopoint injections and some steroids.
Franklin has also undergone specialist BOAS surgery and is currently 8 weeks post op. The surgery has dramatically improved in his breathing and exercise tolerance. It is recommended he only have a lead and harness and no restrictive collar use.
Franklin's new home must be dedicated to meet the costs associated with this ongoing care.
