About Pidgey
*In foster care in Forest Lodge, Sydney*
Pidgey is a curious little dude with a big personality! Equal parts smoochy king and mischief maker, he's taking like a duck to water to the luxuries of indoor life after a rough start on the streets, and has blossomed into an affectionate, adventurous and playful companion :)
Zoomies up and down the hall are Pidgey's speciality, and a good toy can keep him entertained for hours - but it’s even better when one of his favourite humans joins in!
And once he's worn himself out, he adores curling up on a cosy shoulder for a nap. A lover not a fighter, Pidgey's got a powerful purr (especially for a kitten so small!), and he likes to lean into your hand and share appreciative licks while being patted.
This beautiful boy is also incredibly smart, having already learnt how to spin and offer his paw on command… although that might have something to do with how much he loves his food!
Pidgey will continue to flourish in a calm, understanding home with adults only, or a family with children aged 10+, with or without other gentle pets.
Like all Maggie’s pets, Pidgey is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be peaceful and patient, allowing me to settle in at my own pace and knowing the wait will be worth every minute! I'm growing in confidence every day, and with the right support I'm sure to adjust quickly and be part of the action before you know it.
Oh, and my perfect humans won't just be able to keep up with my playful and energetic personality - they'll adore it!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Typical of a kitten my age, I have seemingly endless energy - until it's time to recharge! Then it's cuddle time.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: A calm and predictable home environment will allow me to thrive and become my best self. While I’m very playful, I can feel a little unsure in busy or noisy situations, so I’ll be most comfortable in a home with adults or older (10+) gentle children who understand how to interact respectfully.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: The odds are good that with slow and careful introductions, I'll be able to live happily with other cats or dogs. Let's give it a try!

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
