Howdy! I’m Socks. I’m a sweet and friendly boy who loves to be close by your side. I don’t really meow, but I make adorable chirpy noises when I’m happy or excited. I’m always nearby, quietly keeping you company. It’s my favourite place to be, near my people.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I’ve been good with a toddler and enjoy gentle company.

I’m great with other cats and am always keen to make friends and play.

I haven’t been tested with dogs or other animals yet. With my sweet nature, I may be ok with a friendly cat-savvy doggo, given proper, slow introductions.

Likes / Dislikes
✅I love food, especially tuna
✅I enjoy making biscuits on people, other cats, and even furniture or clothes.
✅In the evenings, I’m happiest sitting with you on the couch or bed.

❌I don’t like being left alone
❌ I’m not a fan of being carried around.

My PURR-fect home would be where someone is always around, or where I have a constant companion like another cat. I’d do really well in a home with kids who can spend time with me. I’m just looking for a loving home where I’m never too lonely.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

Medical Notes: Socks was exposed to Ringworm, which is a common fungal infection. He did not show symptoms and was given the all clear by the vet.
