About Freddie
Hi, I’m Freddie, but my foster parents call me Skitz Mix.
I'm a tiny dog with big, BIG energy.
Do you like peace, quiet, and predictable routines?
…Cool, me neither.
I’m a professionally unhinged, high-speed fluff missile with a PhD in Zoomies and a minor in Barking At Literally Nothing.
My hobbies include:
• Cutting laps around the house like I’ve just had 14 espressos
• Yelling at my foster mum because breakfast isn't served quick enough
• Following you everywhere and getting all up in your business
• Looking adorable immediately after committing crimes, which includes doing my business just to the side of the pee pad, stealing everything that belongs to the tiny humans and destroying everything in my path.
A bit about my origin story (yes, I have one, like a tiny dramatic superhero):
I arrived here with a broken leg — very tragic, very cinematic, 10/10 performance from me. But don’t worry, I’m all healed now and back to full-speed chaos mode. The only tiny side effect is that I may have missed a few “how to be a normal dog” classes… so my social skills are best described as enthusiastically questionable.
Bonus side is I'm wonderfully crate trained, but my new humans will definitely have their work cut out for them, with helping me continue my “learning how to dog” journey (we’ll figure it out together… probably loudly)
I'm good with kids, but they don't call me Skitz Mix for nothing. I'm learning to settle but I choose when I listen.
I'm good with dogs of all sizes, I do suffer small man syndrome though so trust me to scream at any dogs passing by. Given my small size, previous injury and lack of social skills, a small, young and friendly existing dog is recommended.
If you have guinea pigs and love your guinea pigs, I am not the dog for you. Despite being the same size as a large rodent, I am not a fan and will replicate a WWE match and take them down.
I'm a loyal companion and I'll keep you both entertained and on your toes with my shenanigans and unhinged antics.
Despite having a rough trot, I have a heart full of love and affection.
I need someone that sees me more than the 'cute ball of fluff' that I am and understands the commitment I actually will be.
If you're successful in adopting me, you won't be disappointed, but honestly, I won't be the dog for just anyone. I have a lot of boxes you'll need to tick if you want to take me home. I have enough red flags for the both of us.
