NAME: Willow

Nicknames: Princess, because she is one!

BEFORE RESCUE: Came to SAFE Esperance from the pound

PERSONALITY: She has taken the longest of her litter to come out of her shell but is now making great progress. She is adventurous, playful and curious. She had minimal interaction with people before coming into foster care and has quickly learned that humans are nice, especially when they have food for her!

FAVOURITE THINGS: Willow is a typical kitten with bursts of playful energy. She loves to play with toy mice and spring toys. She also enjoys ping pong balls and loves to bat them all around the room. She’s still learning that strokes are nice and has yet to be introduced to the brush.

OTHER ANIMALS: She gets on well with the other cats in her foster home and could live with either other cats or a friendly, cat-savvy dog after gentle, supervised introductions.

GENERAL INFO: Willow is microchipped and vaccinated. She is flea and worm treated and is litter trained and very clean.

ESSENTIALS for Willow:

** A loving home where she’s given time initially to settle in and get comfortable, then gets plenty of attention but is treated gently. She will be frightened initially so her new owner will need to be patient with her for the first few weeks after adoption until she settles in. She would go well with older, gentle children who will interact with her daily as she loves to play. She will also need regular brushing to keep her long fur and beautiful bushy tail in check.

**Willow needs to be kept as an inside only cat or have access to a secure outside cat run.

ADOPTION FEE – $435
Adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, first f3 vaccination, flea and worm treatment and microchip, including the transfer of ownership.

ADOPTION DETAILS

After applying, one of our SAFE coordinators will be in touch to arrange for you to meet with the cat/kitten or to talk to their carer for more information.

Our adoption process includes a two-week trial to ensure your chosen pet is the right fit for your home. After a successful trial period, SAFE Esperance will arrange transfer of ownership on your new pet’s microchip and email copies of their vet records out to you.
