My Ideal Home:
• I'll need daily exercise - walks, park or beach trips, and playtime in the backyard will keep me happy and healthy.
• Ongoing training and guidance with basic manners will help me grow into a well-behaved companion.
• I want to be part of the family indoors - not left outside without interaction.
• As a social and playful pup, I may really enjoy attending doggy daycare.
• Secure fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent) is essential to keep me safe.
• I'd love plenty of toys and mental enrichment to keep my busy mind occupied.
• Most importantly, I'm looking for lots of love and attention from my family.
• When I get excited, I can be a little bouncy and mouthy, so will be best suited to a home with no young children.
• Training, training, training - it's essential that I receive consistent guidance in every aspect of my life so I can become the very best companion as I mature.
• I enjoy the company of other friendly dogs, I can be very playful & vocal though so would require a doggy friend who will be tolerant of that.
• With a slow and thoughtful introduction, I may be able to live with a dog savvy/friendly cat.

• I know how to sit & am highly food motivated, which makes training lots of fun and helps me learn quickly.
• I'm very social and happy to hang out with other friendly dogs - total social butterfly!
• I absolutely love attention, cuddles, hugs, kisses and head scratches.

• I'm exuberant and full of beans, always ready for fun and adventure.
• I'm clever, enthusiastic, and would thrive with a family who'll continue my training and maybe even teach me some cool new tricks.

Training & Support Needs:
• I can be very bouncy when excited, but consistent training will help me learn calmer behaviours.
• I can be a bit barky & whiney when first left alone in the yard, however I do settle. A home where I can spend plenty of time indoors, have lots of company, and be provided with enrichment toys or treats when alone would suit me best.

Please Note: You'll only be able to meet Reuben if your application is approved. Successful applicants will be invited to the shelter for a meet-and-greet, and any dogs currently in the home must attend as well
