Lydia is a striking tabby and white girl with beautifully unique, skunk-like markings—her stripes run down her body rather than across, giving her a look that truly sets her apart.

This lovely girl is full of personality and affection… on her terms. Lydia is wonderfully purry and adores attention, especially a good scratch near the base of her tail (you’ll know you’ve hit the spot when she arches her back!).

Once she trusts you, she can be a little needy and will happily soak up all the pats you’re willing to give.

That said, Lydia is also a queen who knows her own boundaries. She isn’t a fan of being touched around her head or face, and if she’s not in the mood for cuddles, she’ll make that very clear.

But when she is in the mood, she’s all in—curling up beside you on the lounge for a cosy evening together.

Playtime brings out Lydia’s inner hunter. She loves her toys and will go into full predator mode, proudly “protecting” her prey like the fierce little tigress she is.

Lydia gets along well with other cats and kittens, making her a great option as either a first cat or a companion to an existing feline friend.

If adopted as an only cat, she will happily “own” her human—so her new family will need to be ready to give her plenty of affection when she asks for it, while also respecting her independent streak.

She’s also a great eater and very food motivated, which makes building trust and routine with her that much easier.

Lydia would suit a calm home without young children. Older, cat-savvy kids who understand and respect her boundaries would be just fine. She also loves to sleep up high, so a cat tree or elevated perch will help her feel safe and settled in her new home.

Lydia’s ideal home:
• Indoor-only, calm environment
• With another friendly cat, or as a solo cat with a dedicated human
• No young children (older, respectful kids are okay)
• A family who understands and respects feline boundaries
• A home with a cat tree or high sleeping spots.

Lydia is equal parts affectionate and independent—a special little soul who will form a deep bond with the right person.
