Adorable Archie – A True Gentleman!
Shaded Red Smooth Male Dachshund – 8 yrs 2 months  – 8kg
I’m a rather handsome boy with eyes to melt the soul and a nose you get the urge to kiss. and I like to think I’ve mastered the art of being a very good boy. I’m affectionate, fun-loving, and have a big personality packed into my little sausage-shaped body.
I’ve got lovely manners too — I’m lead trained, crate trained, and know my basic commands, so I fit in nicely with quiet family life. Right now, I’m living on acreage with two male Kelpies and even some horses, and I get along just fine with everyone. I enjoy a bit of adventure, but I’m just as happy wandering around the garden on my own little sniffing missions. There are always interesting smells to investigate!
Now, I’ll let you in on a little secret… I do love my food 🍖. It’s probably how I ended up a little on the chubby side. The good news is I’m on a healthy food plan, and I’m already starting to slim down nicely.
I’m also quite the traveller. I enjoy car rides and will happily sit quietly on the golf cart while we cruise around the property — someone must keep an eye on everything going on, after all!
When the day winds down, my favourite place is snuggled up on the couch with my humans. I’m very content spending time on my own too, but if you happen to have another calm dog, I’d happily share my home with them.
I’d love a relaxed home, maybe with a couple or a family with older teenage kids. Sometimes sudden hand movements can still startle me, but each day I’m growing more confident as my loving nature shines through.
I’m really a no-fuss, happy little guy who’s ready to fill someone’s home with companionship, quiet adventures, and plenty of cuddles. I just want to be part of the family.
