About Bruiser
Meet Bruiser, a gorgeous mixed-breed boy with a heart full of love and whilst he hasn't had a great start to life because of his humans, he is a truly loving boy.
This stunning boy was saved from a NSW pound last year and his foster carer fell in love and adopted him. Devastatingly that same carer dumped him at the pound last week without giving us time to find him an urgent foster home when she moved and couldn't take him with her. Our heart breaks that he is at the Lost Dogs Home and we need someone to urgently help us save him and take him home!
At around 2½ years old and weighing in at a healthy 25kg, he is as stunning as he is affectionate. He’s house trained, desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, and vet checked—ready to jump right into the hearts and homes of those who meet him.
This handsome young man is loving and devoted, and he's looking for a new forever home or a foster carer to share his journey with and make him safe and feel loved again. He's extremely affectionate, always keen to shower his humans with love and attention. His ideal home would be one where he’s the only dog. He will also need secure fencing as will take advantage of an open gate or door to explore the outside world!
Bruiser's affectionate loyalty will prove rewarding to those willing to offer him patience and love — he's incredibly food motivated, and exhibits a readiness to still learn new things!
With a calm presence, regular play, and structured routines, anyone bringing
Bruiser into their family is sure to enjoy a trusting and fulfilling relationship. He is best
paired with an experienced owner, comfortable with furthering his obedience training, and who can also provide a stable and safe environment for him to thrive in, where he can finally feel safe and loved and free of the pound!
Foster carer has first option of adoption. Adoptions are on a two week trial.
