Meet Gizmo 🐾 Your Loyal Little Shadow with a Big Heart. Gizmo is a 6-year-old toy poodle with the sweetest nature and the softest curls you’ll ever meet. He loves the simple things in life; like warm laps, soft blankets, and endless belly rubs (his absolute favourite!).
He may be a little timid when first meeting new people, but give him a little time and patience and you’ll quickly become his whole world. Affectionately nicknamed “Gecko” in his foster home 😂, Gizmo has a special talent for sticking close, whether that’s curled up on your lap, tucked beside you on the couch, or gently reminding you it’s time for another belly rub. If you’ve got a free hand, he’ll happily claim it.
Gizmo is a clever little boy who already knows sit, down, and even a charming high five ✋🏻. He walks beautifully on the lead, checking in with you along the way, and travels calmly in the car. Making him the perfect co-pilot for coffee dates, weekend outings, or everyday errands.
He’s been part of a home where companionship is a big part of life and truly thrives when he has someone nearby. He naturally gravitates toward calm, nurturing energy and has formed a particularly close bond with his foster mum, often choosing to stay right by her side. He sleeps on his own bed beside her at night and is always hopeful for an invite up in the morning for a cuddle before the day begins.
Gizmo would suit a home where he can be included in day to day life; whether that’s someone who works from home, enjoys quiet companionship, or simply has the time and love to share. He’s not a big barker, has lovely manners, and brings a gentle, affectionate presence wherever he goes.
