About Max
At just 5 months old, Max is already nearing 30kg and still has plenty of growing left to do. With Wolfhound in his mix, along with several other breeds, Max has a striking and unique appearance. His sleek black coat is complemented by a white blaze, bright white chest and oversized puppy paws, while a hint of a scruffy beard is beginning to emerge, giving him plenty of character as he grows.
While Max is growing into a large and powerful dog, he has a lovely, easy-going temperament. He is affectionate, enjoys being around his people and settles well in the home. As he’s matured, Max has shown that he doesn’t need someone home all day and is happy to relax when given appropriate exercise, enrichment and routine.
Max is fully toilet trained and has been a pleasure to have in foster care. He enjoys the company of other dogs and loves a good play session, making him a great match for families with an existing canine companion. However, he would also be happy as an only dog provided he receives plenty of interaction and opportunities for exercise.
Like many young dogs, Max is still learning his manners on lead. Due to his size and strength, his new family should be prepared to continue his training and help him develop into a well-mannered adult. He is eager to please and has all the foundations to become a fantastic companion.
Max would suit a family looking for a loyal, affectionate young dog who enjoys both playtime and downtime. He is a wonderful combination of fun-loving puppy and calm companion, and he’s ready to find a forever home to continue growing and thriving in. Due to his size and enthusiasm, we recommend a home with children aged 8 years and over.

Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
