About Max
Max
This sweet boy is a gentle soul and a total sook who is thriving on the comfort of a steady routine. A unique Wolfhound cross Staffy mix around 3 months in age, he has a short shiny coat yet already sports a scruffy distinctive and adorable beard that perfectly matches his big softie personality. He loves cuddles on the lounge- if you like a shadow, Max is your boy.
He will likely be large in size, but there may be other breeds in the mix, his feet seem very large, so he could end up being quite a big boy. He would likely suit calm older children who have experience with large dogs, and teenagers.
He is picking up house training very quickly, and is adapting to crate training overnight. He thrives on companionship, currently enjoying the company of his carers' dogs. While he is still just a baby, his temperament is likely better suited to a home with a doggy friend to keep him company. He has experience living with cats and has been learning poultry are friends.
He is looking for a home where he can be an integral part of the family. He is best suited to a home where someone is home more often than not. He needs a family committed to continuing his training and giving him positive experiences in the world as he grows.
He is currently in foster care in the Warners Bay / Lake Macquarie area. He requires access to both indoors and outdoors to be with his humans and is ready to find his forever family now.

In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
