About Tilly
Introducing Tilly!
Tilly is a Domestic Short Hair born approx 2nd February 2026.
Tilly & her brother were brought into the facility after being found at Cessnock tip. Both of these babies were obviously very timid when they first arrived & would hiss at anyone who looked at them (honestly if i was thrown out with someone's garbage I would most likely respond the same way), however neither have ever tried to bite or scratch us.
It didn't take long for this gorgeous duo to warm up to human affection and we're happy to say that Cooper & Tilly are growing into the most beautiful kittens, who purr as soon as you pick them up.
These two absolutely LOVE to play and get into all kinds of cheeky kitten mischief! They love wrestling with eachother, wrestling/chasing other kittens, playing with every toy they find and climbing on things they probably shouldn't.. including but not limited to enclosures, furniture and the legs of staff & volunteers.
Tilly has been socialised with multiple cats & kittens and she has gotten on very well with all of them. We believe Tilly could be suitable to live with other feline friends, or be the spoilt only "child" at home.
Tilly will be rehomed to a family who will keep her as an inside cat only.
Tilly is litter trained and would make a wonderful addition to most families.
If you think you could be that furever family for Tilly, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
Her adoption fee is $325 & this includes her desexing, first vaccination and lifetime registration. She is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Tilly is currently located in East Maitland.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
