About Buffy (68527)
Meet Buffy, our beautiful Maremma Sheepdog with a gentle and sensitive nature. Buffy is much smaller than what's typical for her breed, but she is otherwise healthy and doing well.
Buffy came into our care through no fault of her own and is now ready to find a safe and understanding home. True to her breed, she can be quite nervous around unfamiliar people and will thrive in a calm, patient environment-ideally with someone who has experience with Maremmas.
Buffy will need extra support building her confidence and learning to feel secure on her own, as she is currently showing some signs of separation anxiety. She would benefit from a home committed to helping her develop independence at her own pace.
She can be a little shy around other dogs but may do well with a compatible, well-matched male companion. Buffy has previously lived with children aged six and over and may suit a home with respectful kids. She has not yet been assessed with cats.
Buffy may also need some support adjusting to a home where she transitions between indoor and outdoor living.
If you're looking for a loyal companion and can provide Buffy with the patience and reassurance she needs to grow in confidence, we'd love to hear from you. Could Buffy be your new best friend? Apply online today.
