Meet Lucky, our very own "happy-go-lucky" whirlwind!

At just 11 months old, Lucky is everything you'd expect from a young Kelpie... and then some. He's full of energy, always on the go, and lives life at 100km/h. Whether it's chasing a ball, zooming around the yard, or scanning the ground for snacks, Lucky throws his whole heart into everything he does.

True to his name, he's an incredibly happy boy with a sweet and affectionate nature, but don't be surprised if fetch ranks slightly higher than you on his list of priorities (for now!). He absolutely adores food, and will easily catch just about anything you toss his way. In fact, food is currently his biggest focus in life... sometimes a little too much.

Lucky is quite underweight and will need a home committed to helping him safely gain a few kilos while also teaching him that he doesn't need to snatch up everything in sight. He's got no manners at this stage and hasn't learned the basics like "sit" yet, but he's young, eager, and very food motivated, which is the perfect recipe for training success in the right hands.

Because of his high energy and his tendency to grab food quickly, Lucky would be best suited to a home with secondary school-aged kids or older who can understand his needs and help with his training.

The good news? He's great with other dogs and would love a canine buddy to run around with and burn off some of that endless energy.

Lucky is looking for an active home ready to embrace a fun, chaotic, and very lovable young dog. With a bit of structure, patience, and plenty of snacks (strategically given!), he's going to grow into an incredible companion.
