About Layla
This gentle cat may be shy at first, especially around strangers, but forms strong bonds with their primary carer over time. With patience, they become affectionate, enjoy pats, and love being involved in daily household activities.
Layla would thrive best in a quiet, low-traffic home with adults or respectful older teenagers who understand the importance of giving cats time to settle in and feel secure. Layla appreciates a calm, predictable environment where she can build confidence at her own pace.
Once comfortable, Layla enjoys cozying up and sleeping on her human's bed. She is fully litter trained and has no toileting issues
Layla has previously lived with both dogs and cats and can adjust well with slow, careful introductions. .
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
