About Millie
Meet Millie 🐾
Millie is a happy, affectionate and social girl who absolutely loves getting out and about. Whether it’s a trip to the dog park, a run on the beach, or meeting new people and dog friends, Millie is always ready for her next adventure.
Millie enjoys 30–60 minutes of exercise each day, and once she’s had her fun she’s very content to relax and snooze the rest of the day. Millie would thrive in an active home and would especially love a family with another friendly dog to play with.
Millie is both house trained and crate trained, and happily settles when left at home during the day. She sleeps through the night in her crate and sees it as her own safe and cosy space. She’s also been doing really well with her training and already knows sit, leave it and wait. Her recall is still a work in progress but she's learning!
Millie is wonderful with other dogs and very friendly with people. Having previously lived in a home with multiple dogs, she’s especially comfortable in a social environment and would fit beautifully into a household with canine companions.
One of Millie’s cutest quirks is that she’s a bit of a chatty girl — she’ll happily let you know how excited she is when she’s waiting for her next adventure, especially when arriving at the park or beach.
If you’re looking for a playful, loving companion who enjoys an active lifestyle and the company of other dogs, Millie could be the perfect addition to your home.
Dogs make wonderful companions, and the benefits of bringing one home are immense. They’re loyal, loving, and endlessly entertaining. Plus, you’ll never be lonely or bored with a pup by your side.
Adopting a dog can also provide you with an opportunity to give a pup in need a second chance. With the right amount of love and patience, you can help your pooch become a confident, well-rounded canine companion.
You’ll also get to experience the unique bond between two-legged and four-legged friends. Plus, dogs can provide you with plenty of physical and mental health benefits. From providing you with daily exercise, to reducing stress and anxiety, to providing you with unconditional love and companionship, the advantages of canine ownership are endless.
So, if you’re ready to welcome a pup into your life, consider adopting a dog today. You won’t regret it!

4 THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE APPLYING:
1. Time Commitment: Owning a dog is a big responsibility and requires a significant commitment of time and energy. Be sure to consider how much time you can realistically dedicate to caring for a dog and make sure you are prepared to make that commitment.
2. Cost: Owning a dog can be expensive. Make sure to consider the cost of food, medical care, toys, and other supplies. You may also want to think about enrolling your dog in obedience classes or hiring a professional dog walker.
3. Space: Depending on the breed, some dogs require a lot of space. Make sure you have enough room in your home and yard to accommodate a dog before making the decision to adopt.
4. Lifestyle: Think about your current lifestyle and how a dog may fit into it. Consider if you have any restrictions such as travel, work hours, or allergies. Also, think about how owning a dog may affect your social life.
