Meet Bolt, a lively, affectionate boy who lives life at full speed… and loves every second of it.

Just like his namesake Usain Bolt, this Bolt is quick on his feet, full of personality, and guaranteed to bring energy and excitement into your home.

Currently in foster care with a loving family, Bolt is a cuddly, friendly boy who absolutely thrives on connection. He may be a little unsure around men at first, but give him a gentle approach and a bit of patience, and you will quickly see his walls come down as his sweet nature shines through.

Bolt is still very much a puppy at heart. He is eager to learn, keen to please, and highly food motivated, which makes training both fun and rewarding. He is already picking up the basics like sit, stay and drop, and with continued guidance, he is going to go far.

He LOVES:
• Car rides… the faster the better (well, in his mind anyway!)
• Other dogs and would really benefit from a playful canine companion
• His marrow bone… and is happy to share when asked
• Figuring things out… he has already mastered the dog door

Like many young dogs, Bolt can get very excited, and sometimes that excitement gets the better of him… including a little loss of bladder control. With time, routine and continued training, this will improve as he grows in confidence.

On lead, Bolt can be a bit enthusiastic and likes to pull, but he walks beautifully alongside another dog, showing just how much he enjoys companionship and guidance.

He settles well on his own, especially when he has a cosy bed and something to chew, and he has not shown any destructive behaviours in care, which is a great sign for a young dog.

This gorgeous boy is looking for a home that can match his energy, continue his training, and most importantly, give him the love and structure he is ready to embrace.
