About Dashy
🐾 Dashy - The One‑of‑a‑Kind Pocket Rocket
Meet Dashy, the most unexpected (and weirdly adorable) mix you'll meet this year. Part Dachshund, part Greyhound - yes, really - he's a compact little character with a big personality and a whole lot of charm.
Currently weighing in at just under 15kg, Dashy has come to us through a regional pound, and while we don't know his full backstory, he's already showing us who he is: bright, curious, energetic and full of youthful enthusiasm. At just one year old, he's still very much a teenager - playful, goofy, and eager to explore the world. He simply loves squeaky toys & behaving a little bit like a pogo stick!
🌟 What We're Seeing So Far
- Social, alert and interested in everything happening around him
- Young, trainable and keen to learn
- A fun mix of speed, silliness and smarts
- High energy with bursts of zoomies (the Greyhound genes say "go!", the Dachshund genes say "wiggle!")
- Loves people and enjoys interaction
🧡 What Dashy Needs
Dashy will thrive with a family who can offer:
- Daily exercise and play
- Positive training and structure
- Indoor life as part of the family
- Secure fencing (he's clever and curious)
- A loving home ready for a young dog with personality
✨ Why You'll Love Him
Dashy is the kind of dog who makes people smile. He's quirky, affectionate, and full of potential. With guidance and consistency, he'll grow into a loyal, fun companion.
If you're after a young dog with character, charm and a dash of chaos, Dashy might be your perfect match.
