Shadow

Shadow's story is one of resilience. We believe she was abandoned when her humans moved away.

Despite being hardly more than a kitten herself, when Shadow had kittens, she was lucky to have them on the patio of someone who decided to look out for her. Her kittens have all found their forever homes and now it’s Shadow’s turn.

Shadow is very affectionate and a little chatty when she has something to say. She also loves being outside, after having had to live outdoors, so transitioning to full indoor life will take patience and understanding as she adjusts.

Shadow is looking for a calm, caring home with someone who understands her past and is ready to help her continue to feel safe, loved and secure. With the right person, she will blossom into a devoted and loving companion — the little princess she was always meant to be.

We don't know what she's like with dogs and other cats. She currently lives in a busy home with primary school aged children, so she should be fine in a similar home. However, we believe a quieter, calmer environment would be better suited for her and enable her to really shine and be herself.
