Chip is a striking dark tabby with gorgeous markings and a face that perfectly matches his sweet nature. 🐯 While he definitely has that confident "boy energy" and isn’t afraid of a bit of mischief (especially alongside his brother Bikkie! 🍪), there’s a gentle, affectionate side to him that makes him truly special. 🌟
He’s the perfect balance of playful and loving—always up for a game, but just as happy to settle in for snuggles. 🧸 When he does, you’ll be rewarded with one of the loudest, most comforting purrs you’ve ever heard. 🔊 His little motor is guaranteed to melt hearts! 🥰
Chip is quite independent and enjoys exploring, but he still thrives on connection and would do best in a home with a feline companion. 🐈⬛ He gets along famously with all his siblings and would be a wonderful match with Sugar, Sprinkle, Bikkie, or Seraphina. 🐾💞
Despite being the biggest of the bunch, Chip has a softer, slightly sensitive side too—a reminder that even the confident ones still need heaps of love and reassurance. 🤗

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
Our 10-Day Health Guarantee: We want you to feel confident in your new family member’s health. We offer a 10-day cooling-off period specifically for health-related concerns. If your kitten shows signs of a pre-existing illness (such as a respiratory infection or parasite) within the first 10 days of arriving home, please contact us immediately. During this window, you have the option to return the kitten for a full refund or work with our rescue team to ensure the kitten receives the necessary care. We are committed to transparency and the wellbeing of our cats.
